There’s something magical about sharing tea—whether it’s with your grandmother, your daughter, or your best friend. For Keri, owner of The Kitchen Table, this cherished ritual has blossomed into a heartwarming new experience right in the heart of St. George: themed tea parties that are all about slowing down, connecting, and creating memories around a beautifully set table.
When Keri and Charlie bought the restaurant two years ago, she already knew the name would change. The idea came to her one cozy night watching a chef documentary, where the phrase “in the kitchen” kept popping up. It sparked a beautiful memory of family gatherings, heartfelt conversations, and joyful meals around the kitchen table.
“It just felt right—the kitchen table is where life happens. It’s where you laugh, cry, eat, and grow together.”
Now, with the new name and an even stronger sense of purpose, The Kitchen Table has become more than just a restaurant—it’s a destination for connection.
Before launching officially, Keri hosted a rehearsal tea party at The Kitchen Table. What started as a 30-person gathering quickly grew into over 55 guests as word spread. Local influencers, friends, and family all gathered to sip, snap photos, and experience the concept.
Everyone was encouraged to dress in the color palette sent out in advance—something that made the gathering even more magical.
“Even though many guests didn’t know each other, we all showed up in coordinating tones. It just made the event feel elevated, like we were part of something special.”
A Birthday Wish in Vegas Turned Dream Come True

“I love this so much. I can do this at my own restaurant!”
She flew home buzzing with inspiration and told her husband Charlie: “You’re not going to understand this, but I’m going to start having tea parties at the restaurant.”
He didn’t quite get it—but gave her the green light. And that’s when the tea party dream truly began to "steep."

“We had tea sets passed down from my great-great-grandmother. Mom wouldn’t let me touch them alone, but she’d fill them with juice or tea and we’d dress up and pretend. It was just about being girls, together.”

Charlie managed restaurants in his younger years and always dreamed of owning one someday. After he and Keri got married, that dream stayed alive—but the right place never came along.
When they moved to St. George, Utah, they knew they had found home. They fell in love with the community and felt it was the perfect place to plant roots. That’s when they discovered Pork Belly's.
It felt right. So they took a leap, bought the restaurant, and transformed it into The Kitchen Table—a cozy, welcoming space where good food and meaningful moments are always on the menu.
A memory of inviting Charlie to join in, on the tea parties, where he misunderstood the invite as “Tee Time” for golf—only to show up wearing a tiara and feather boa, sipping from a delicate china cup. 🫖
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
